Saving Your Own Marketing Studio Templates
Turn a Marketing Studio design into your own template and offer it on every order, one client's orders, or a whole brokerage's — with live listing details.

Some clients want the same look on every listing — the brokerage’s Just Listed post, a team’s flyer layout, the story an agent asks for every time. Once you’ve built that design in Marketing Studio, save it as a template and start from it on the next order instead of rebuilding it.
Templates are a studio tool: they show up for your team when you create an asset on an order, and “Templates stay in your studio. Clients never see them.” Marketing Studio is included on Starter and up — see pricing.
Save a design as a template
There are two ways in:
- In the editor, open More in the top bar and choose Save as template…
- On the order’s Media tab, in the Marketing section, open an asset card’s ⋯ menu and choose Save as template…
The dialog — “Start new assets from this design on other orders.” — asks for a Template name and where to offer it, then Save template. When it’s saved, the confirmation says where to find it: “Find it under My templates when you create an asset.”
Choose which orders get it
Offer it on gives you up to three choices, named after the order you’re saving from:
- Every order — “Any client, any company”.
- Jordan Meyers’s orders — “Just this client”.
- Hartwell Realty’s orders — “Anyone at this company”: every order tied to that company, whichever agent booked it.
It starts on the order’s client when the order has one, otherwise on every order. A template only appears on orders in its scope, so a brokerage’s branded layout never turns up on another brokerage’s listing.
What changes when a design becomes a template
A template is meant for other listings, so Spatiko strips out what belongs to this one:
- Typed listing details become live. If a text box has this listing’s address, price, or agent details typed in, the dialog lists them under “Text written for this listing” and offers Replace with this listing’s live details, on by default — “Each order then shows its own address, price and client details.” Turn it off to keep the text exactly as typed.
- Photos become frames. “Photos become frames that fill with each order’s own photos.”
- Client uploads are left out. Images you uploaded travel with the template, but anything the client added — or that’s no longer available — is dropped, and the confirmation tells you how many.
- Its look stays fixed. A template keeps the colors and fonts you saved it with rather than taking on each client’s brand kit. To restyle a design made from it, use Apply brand in the editor’s Brand panel.
Use your templates
Your templates appear under My templates when you create an asset — as their own view in the New asset picker, and at the top of the picker’s list and the editor’s Templates panel. Only the templates offered on the current order show, and search and filters work on them as they do on the built-in library.
Until you’ve saved one, My templates reads “No templates of your own yet” — “Open an asset and choose More → Save as template. It shows up here on the orders you offer it on.”
Rename, rescope, or delete
Each template in My templates has a ⋯ menu:
- Edit… — rename it or change which orders it’s offered on.
- Delete — ““Hartwell Just Listed” will be removed from My templates. Assets already made from it are not affected.”
Anyone on your team who can design marketing materials on an order can save a template from it. Editing and deleting templates, though, needs View all orders — Owners and Admins have it by default. See roles and permissions.
A studio can keep up to 200 templates. At the limit, saving another tells you to delete ones you no longer use and try again.

- Marketing Studio — create, deliver, and edit listing posts, stories, and flyers.
- Client and company brand kits — the colors and fonts new designs start from.
- Companies — link agents to a brokerage so company-wide templates reach all of them.
- Delivery galleries — where the designs you deliver reach the client.
Frequently asked questions
Can my clients see or use the templates I save?
No. Templates you save stay in your studio — clients never see them in their template picker. What they do see is any design you made from one and added to the delivery.
Does deleting a template delete the designs made from it?
No. Deleting removes the template from My templates only. Designs already made from it, including ones you've delivered, aren't affected.
How many templates can a studio keep?
Up to 200 templates per studio. When you reach that, saving another asks you to delete ones you no longer use first.
Will a template keep the photos from the listing I saved it from?
No. Photos become empty frames that fill with each order's own photos when someone uses the template, and images a client uploaded are left out.
