The Grow Journey: Milestones, Ranks & Rares

How Spatiko's Grow page works — a milestone journey across eight paths with studio ranks, rare unlocks, momentum, best-week records, and share cards.

Last updated

Grow is a page in your app’s main navigation that maps your studio’s progress as a journey — first the setup steps that get you open for bookings, then milestones you earn automatically as real work flows through Spatiko. It’s part progress tracker, part to-do list, part trophy case. Grow is visible to owners and admins; team members with other roles don’t see it.

What’s on the Grow page

At the top sits your studio card: your current rank, a progress bar toward the next rank, and lifetime totals for bookings, money collected, deliveries, and clients — each one links into your analytics dashboard.

Below that, the page adapts to where you are:

  • Before your studio is open, a “Next” banner points at the single most useful setup step, with a count of how many of the required steps you’ve finished.
  • Once you’re open, the banner is replaced by a momentum strip summarizing your past seven days.

The rest of the page is the journey map — eight paths, each a trail of stops. Completed stops collapse into a count you can expand, the current stop shows a progress ring, and the next couple of future tiers are visible ahead of it. Anything further out shows as “+N more milestones ahead”, so there’s always something left to discover. Your dashboard also carries a compact Grow card with your next step and the milestone you’re closest to.

Opening your studio

Five setup steps are required to open your studio:

  1. Business basics — your phone number and address, which appear on booking pages and invoices.
  2. Logo & colors — upload a logo or set a primary brand color.
  3. First service — the menu clients pick from when booking.
  4. Booking form ready — attach services to a form so clients can actually book. See order forms.
  5. Set availability — review your schedule so bookings land on open days. See setting your availability.

Complete all five and you unlock Studio open — a grand-opening celebration with your booking link ready to copy.

Other setup steps are optional: a first package, a promo code, a custom domain, Google Calendar sync, inviting a teammate. If one isn’t relevant to you, open it and choose “Skip this” — it stays on the map in case you change your mind, and you can restore it later. Steps that depend on a plan feature (like custom domains or online payments) point you toward an upgrade instead of the setting.

The eight paths

Each path follows one dimension of the business, mixing setup steps with earned milestones:

  • Brandmake it unmistakably yours. Business basics, logo and colors, and an optional custom domain. “Fully branded” unlocks once logo, primary color, and custom domain are all in place. See business profile, branding, and legal.
  • Offerbuild what clients book. Your first service, booking form, and optional package and promo code — then bestseller milestones as a single service racks up 25, 100, and 500 bookings.
  • Reachget found, convert interest. Sharing your booking page, plus milestones for your first quote request, quotes converted into bookings, and promo code redemptions.
  • Bookingsfill the calendar. Availability, coverage and travel, optional calendar sync — then booking-count milestones from your first booking up through 2,500. See order forms for making booking easy.
  • Deliveryshoot, deliver, impress. Delivery-count milestones from your first delivered shoot up through 2,500. See delivering your media.
  • Clientsturn clients into regulars. Client-count milestones plus retention ones: your first repeat client, “The regular” (a client’s fifth order), and growing tiers of regulars — clients with three or more orders. See client records.
  • Moneyget paid like a business. Connecting Stripe, your first online payment, and revenue milestones from your first $1k collected up through $1M. See getting paid.
  • Teamgrow beyond yourself. The one path marked optional — solo studios can ignore it entirely. Inviting your first teammate, then milestones as your active roster grows. See team and roles.
Three of the eight trails: earlier stops collapse into a count, the current stop shows a progress ring, and a couple of tiers wait ahead of it.

How milestones complete

Everything on the map completes automatically — there’s nothing to check off manually:

  • Setup steps are detected from your account. Add a service and “First service” is done; connect Stripe and “Accept online payments” is done.
  • Milestones unlock when a metric crosses its threshold, computed from real records: orders (cancelled ones don’t count), delivered orders, successful payments, and client records. The next tier shows a live progress bar toward its target.

The one step that works differently is Share your booking page — it completes when you copy your booking link using the button on the Grow page, since Spatiko can’t see where you paste it.

Progress is re-evaluated whenever you open the Grow page and in the background as bookings, deliveries, and payments come in, and each milestone or rare you unlock also lands in your in-app notifications. If something a completed step relied on later disappears — say you deactivate your only service — the step keeps its earned status but shows an amber “needs attention” dot so you can fix it.

Rare milestones

Alongside the regular tiers, the journey hides a few rares. Until you earn one, it appears as a ”?” node with only a teaser hint. They unlock automatically when something special happens:

  • Money while you sleep — a client books and pays online between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. in your business’s timezone.
  • Full house — five shoots delivered within a single week.
  • Powerhouse week — twenty-five shoots delivered within a single week.
  • Same-day turnaround — an order shot and delivered on the same day.
  • Golden week — a seven-day revenue total at least double your previous best week.
A rare tucked into the Bookings trail — until it unlocks, its name stays hidden and its dialog shows only a teaser hint.

Momentum and best-week records

Once your studio is open, the momentum strip sums up your past seven days: bookings, shoots delivered, money collected, and new clients. Spatiko also keeps best-week records for revenue, deliveries, and bookings — beat one and the strip shows a “Best week yet” badge. Records update automatically as new bests happen; there’s nothing to configure.

Ranks

Every completed step and milestone contributes to your studio’s rank. There are eight, from New Studio through Open for Business, Booked & Busy, Established Studio, Signature Studio, Landmark Studio, and Renowned Studio, up to Legacy Studio. Your current rank and progress toward the next one sit on the studio card at the top of the page.

Celebrations and sharing

When a milestone unlocks, you get a celebration the next time you’re in the app — confetti included, with a special grand-opening version for Studio open. If several unlocked while you were away, they arrive as one “While you were away” list. Not your thing? There’s a “Mute celebrations” link right on the dialog, and an unmute link at the bottom of the Grow page.

Every earned milestone also has a share card — a collectible image stamped with your studio name, logo, and the date you earned it. Open any completed milestone on the map (or hit Share on a celebration) to download the card, copy it to your clipboard, or send it through your device’s share sheet — a ready-made post for your feed, story, or client newsletter.
