If a business owner invited you to their Spatiko workspace — as a photographer, admin, or assistant — this is your setup path. It’s much shorter than the owner’s: the business, catalog, and booking page already exist, so your job is just to make sure shoots can land on your calendar cleanly.
Accepting your invite
Invites arrive by email with a personal link. Open it and sign in with an existing Spatiko account, create one with email and password, or sign up with Google — accepting the invite is enough on its own, with no separate approval step. You join the owner’s workspace with the role they assigned; Spatiko does not create a separate business of your own. The owner-side mechanics are covered in inviting and managing team members.
Finish setting up your profile
After you join, your Dashboard shows a short Finish setting up your profile checklist with three steps:
- Complete your profile (Settings → Profile) — add a photo and phone number so teammates and clients recognize you.
- Set your availability (Settings → My Availability) — your weekly hours, booking lead time, and buffers. You start with default weekday hours; until you set your real schedule, the availability engine offers slots you may not actually work. See setting your availability.
- Connect your calendar (Settings → Calendar) — link Google Calendar so your shoots appear there and your busy times block new bookings automatically. Calendar sync is a paid-plan feature of the business, and the connection is personal to you — details in syncing Google Calendar.
The checklist disappears once all three are done.

What you can view and do depends on your role and any per-member permission tweaks the owner made — roles and permissions has the full breakdown. As a photographer, expect to work mostly from the calendar and your assigned orders: shoots are assigned to you per session, reminders around each shoot go out automatically, and if the owner set up payout rates, your earnings accrue per completed job and are visible to you.
