Spatiko can use your own Dropbox or Google Drive as the working store for every order. You connect it once, and from then on each shoot gets a tidy folder structure in your cloud, and your finished files flow from there into Spatiko — ready to deliver. With Dropbox, that sync can run automatically: once you switch auto-import on and pick a root folder, files you drop into an order’s delivery folder are pulled in on their own, no importing step. The biggest reason to connect it: a cloud-backed order is how your clients get true full-resolution originals, downloaded straight from the Spatiko gallery.
Connect Dropbox or Google Drive
You link Dropbox or Google Drive one time from your settings. Spatiko keeps the connection secure and refreshed, so you don’t have to reconnect it. For the setup steps, see connecting your tools. Once you’re connected, Spatiko treats your cloud storage as the home for each order’s files.
One connection for your whole team
An owner or admin connects Dropbox or Google Drive once for the business — there’s a single storage connection, not one per person. From then on, everyone on your team works with order files right inside Spatiko: uploading, sending shoots out for editing, and delivering, all through the platform.
That means your teammates don’t each need their own Dropbox account or a paid Dropbox seat to handle the files — they never open Dropbox directly. Outside editors don’t need an account either; they just get a share link to the folder. One Dropbox subscription covers your whole operation instead of a seat per person.
The per-order folder scaffold
For every order, Spatiko creates a folder scaffold in your cloud storage with two folders:
01-Raw— the originals to be edited.02-Delivery— the finished files, ready to deliver.
That structure is consistent across every order, so you always know where things live. Besides creating the folders, the only writing Spatiko does is on your behalf: when you upload through Spatiko on a cloud-backed order with Save originals on (the default), your originals land in these same folders, so your cloud stays the single home for the order’s files.
How media flows in
Cloud storage is an inbound source. When you place finished files in an order’s 02-Delivery folder, Spatiko imports them onto the order and optimizes them for delivery automatically, so the client’s download picker offers Listing Ready for listing portals and print and Web & Social so galleries load fast, alongside Full Quality served straight from your folder. (“Listing Ready” is a size and quality label only; Spatiko does not connect or upload to any MLS or listing service.) Your originals stay exactly where you put them, untouched, in your own cloud folder.
How the import happens depends on the provider:
- Dropbox is automatic. A background sync watches your Dropbox and brings in anything dropped into an order’s Delivery folder — you don’t have to lift a finger.
- Google Drive is manual. You pick the folder or files to import when you’re ready. There’s no automatic Drive watcher.
Re-syncing is safe to repeat: Spatiko imports only the files that are new or have actually changed since the last run, so nothing gets duplicated on the order.

Refreshing a single photo after a re-edit
When a client asks for a tweak, you don’t have to delete the photo and re-import it. Re-export the corrected file over the same file in your cloud folder, then pick Refresh from Dropbox (or Refresh from Google Drive) on that photo in the order. Spatiko pulls the new version and reprocesses it in place, keeping its position, tag, and hero status. It’s also the retry path for a file that failed to process.
Other deliverables: PDFs, brochures, plans
Not everything you hand a client is a photo or a video. On a Dropbox-backed order you can upload other file types — a listing brochure PDF, a floor-plan CAD export, a print-ready flyer — from the order’s content section. They land in that order’s 02-Delivery folder in your Dropbox and show up on the delivery as downloadable deliverables, sitting alongside any links you’ve pasted in.
Photos and videos are rejected here on purpose: they belong in the Photos and Videos sections, where they get the full gallery treatment. Downloads for these files follow the same payment gate as video — if you’re using pay to download, they unlock when the client pays.
Powering editing and delivery
The same cloud folders drive your editing workflow. When you send an order out for editing, editors get a share link to the 01-Raw folder and drop their finished work into 02-Delivery — which then imports just like your own uploads. See sending media for editing.
True full-resolution originals for your client
This is the payoff. On a cloud-backed order, the gallery’s original-resolution download comes straight from that order’s 02-Delivery folder, so the agent gets the true full-resolution files — not a re-encoded copy.
From the client’s side it’s one click inside the Spatiko gallery. They don’t need a Dropbox or Google Drive account, they aren’t asked to sign in anywhere, and they never leave your branded delivery — Spatiko resolves the download at the moment they click it. Your storage stays yours; the client just gets a file.
Without a cloud connection your clients still get the same download formats, which covers most listing work. What cloud sync is not
Cloud storage sync is not a backup service. Spatiko does not push or back up your delivered media out to Dropbox or Google Drive after the fact — media flows from your cloud into Spatiko. What Spatiko writes to your cloud is limited to the 01-Raw and 02-Delivery folders it scaffolds for each order and the files you upload through Spatiko itself, which land in those folders.
