Embedding 3D Tours and Video
How to add Matterport, Zillow 3D, and video (YouTube, Vimeo, or a direct file link) to an order so they show up on the delivery gallery and property website.
Last updated
Beyond photos, an order can carry two other kinds of content: content links (3D tours and similar) and video. They work differently, so this article covers each on its own.
Content links
From an order, use Add a link to paste in a URL. Spatiko detects what it is and fills in the label, thumbnail, and embed automatically — nothing to connect in settings first.
- Matterport — a
my.matterport.com/show/?m=...link is recognized as a 3D virtual tour, gets a thumbnail pulled from Matterport, and embeds directly on the gallery and property website. - Zillow 3D Home — a
zillow.com/view-imx/...orzillow.com/view-3d-home/...link also embeds. A regular Zillow listing page (zillow.com/homedetails/...or/homes/...) does not embed — Zillow blocks that, so those links only open in a new tab. - Floor plans — CubiCasa and VisitHome links are recognized the same way and embed like a tour.
Each content link has its own Include in client delivery toggle, so you can add a link for your own reference without showing it to the client.
Video
Videos are their own thing on the order, separate from content links, with three ways to add one:
- Paste a link — YouTube, Vimeo, or a Dropbox share link to a video file (
.mp4,.m4v,.mov,.webm). It’s added instantly, no upload needed. Dropbox links play in a plain video player rather than an embed, since Dropbox doesn’t offer one. - Import from a folder — pull a video in from a linked Dropbox or Google Drive folder.
- Upload a file directly to Spatiko.
Uploading to YouTube
YouTube is the only video host Spatiko connects to directly. If you’ve connected YouTube (see how connecting works), you can choose a default privacy setting and channel, and then upload video files from inside an order straight to that channel — the video embeds on the delivery gallery and property website once it’s up.
Vimeo and Dropbox don’t have an upload connection like this. For those, you paste a link to a video you’ve already hosted elsewhere.
Where clients see it
Content links and videos both show up on the delivery gallery and, if the order has one, the property website. For getting media onto the order in the first place, see uploading your media.
