Editing Your Property Websites

What an agent can and can't change on a property website from their client portal, including per-listing agent-info visibility overrides.

Last updated

If an order includes a property website, the agent can open it from their portal at /portal/property-websites/:id. It’s the same editor you use internally, with a few admin-only pieces hidden.

What the agent can edit

  • Property details — description, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, lot size, year built, price, MLS number, property type, listing status, garage spaces, and HOA fees.
  • Template and appearance — the page template and its appearance settings.
  • Page sections — the on-page content sections, including reordering them, renaming their labels, and toggling each section’s visibility.
The Property tab and a synced Sections snippet — square footage is pre-filled from the order; everything else on the property details form starts blank for the agent to fill in.

What the agent can see, read-only

  • View count and last-viewed date.
  • Template name and creation date.
  • Once the site is published, both the branded and unbranded public links, which they can copy — branded for their own marketing, unbranded for places like the MLS that don’t allow third-party branding.
The agent's view of a published site: a read-only status badge instead of a toggle, the Stats block, and the Website Links section.

Agent-identity fields aren’t editable here

Name, email, phone, brokerage, license, and personal website shown on the page aren’t editable from inside this editor. They’re pulled live from the agent’s Agent Profile, which they edit at /portal/account.

Per-listing visibility overrides

The agent can still control whether their email, phone, and photo specifically show on this property website, independent of their account-level defaults. Each of the three has a three-way control:

  • Default — inherit the account-level setting. This is where every override starts.
  • Show — display it on this listing regardless of the account-level setting.
  • Hide — hide it on this listing regardless of the account-level setting.

Each override applies to one listing only — changing it here doesn’t affect any of the agent’s other property websites. Only the linked agent can change these overrides; not even the business’s own staff can touch them.

The Agent tab in the client portal: the read-only agent-profile block, and the per-listing Show/Hide overrides for email, phone, and photo.

What’s hidden from the agent

The client portal never shows the agent:

  • The link back to the internal order record.
  • The client contact mini-card — that’s them.
  • The Share Website Link email tool.

Publishing isn’t a client-portal control

Making the property website public or taking it down isn’t something the agent can do from the portal. Publishing and unpublishing only appears for the business’s own team — see editing a property website for the full editor reference.
