Aryeo Alternatives for Real Estate Photographers (2026)
Aryeo alternatives for 2026, checked on each vendor's own pages: who Aryeo suits, how its listing caps and license terms work, and how to switch.
The right Aryeo alternative depends on why you’re looking. Aryeo is polished and capable, and if your agents buy Zillow Showcase it’s hard to replace. The case for moving tends to rest on one of three things: you’ve outgrown its yearly listing caps, you want to weigh its license terms and its 2023 sale to Zillow Group, or you want booking and checkout to be quicker for agents on a phone. The alternatives worth a look are HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Spiro and Spatiko.
The caps creep up on you. Say you shoot on your own, about 15 listings a month, on Aryeo Pro’s $49 tier. That tier covers 100 listings a year, so you’d use it up in about seven months, and the next tier is $99. Aryeo’s pricing pages don’t say what happens when you pass a cap, so ask before you get close.
Spatiko publishes this post, so weigh what we say about ourselves accordingly. Facts about other platforms come from their own pages or filings, checked in October 2026.
What Aryeo does well
Aryeo’s strengths are its free delivery tier and its Zillow connection. Lite, its free plan, gives you branded delivery pages, an agent login portal and a content dashboard for $0 with no end date, and it delivers media for Zillow Showcase listings. Zillow Media Advantage, included on Lite, puts your logo, name and website link on your listing media on Zillow.
Pro, from $49 a month, adds the business suite: embeddable order forms with Stripe or Square and upfront, deposit or pay-later payment, scheduling, payroll and a marketing center. Pro photographers can also join Showcase Select, which lets agents who buy Zillow Showcase book them directly. If a good share of your agents buy Showcase, that alone is a solid reason to stay.
What Aryeo’s terms say about your photos
You keep ownership of the photos and video you upload to Aryeo, and you grant Aryeo a license to use them. Aryeo’s terms of service, last updated March 11, 2025, describe it in section 7.3 as an “irrevocable, perpetual, sublicenseable and transferable license”, and it lets Aryeo distribute your media “in connection with the Service and the Company’s (and its successor’s) business”. Section 10 lists 7.3 among the parts of the agreement that survive termination.
The same section sets limits too. Aryeo agrees not to use your media in advertising without your consent, other than on its own websites and on social pages promoting the service, and photos you never upload aren’t covered at all.
Then there’s who owns Aryeo. Zillow Group acquired it on July 31, 2023, according to Zillow’s own quarterly filing. The terms don’t mention Zillow, and a license sets out what a company may do, not what it does. Whether the combination matters to you is worth weighing, and it’s your call.
Perpetual, transferable wording is common in this category, so read the license grant in any platform’s terms before you upload years of work. Four questions cover it:
- Do you keep ownership of your media?
- What is the license for: running the service, or the company’s wider business?
- Can it be transferred, for example to a new owner?
- Does it end when you delete your work or close your account?
Our own answers, from section 7 of Spatiko’s terms (updated July 31, 2026): you keep ownership, and the license is transferable but only for providing, operating, maintaining and improving the platform. It ends for anything you delete, and entirely when your account closes, subject to backup deletion timelines and legal retention requirements. None of this is legal advice.
Aryeo Lite is free, but it’s a delivery tool
Lite is generous, and it stops at delivery. Aryeo’s own pricing page calls it “our free media delivery tool” and puts scheduling, payroll and invoicing in Pro. So the fair comparison isn’t Lite against someone else’s paid plan. It’s Lite plus however you book and bill today.
If you take bookings by text and bill some other way, Lite’s $0 is hard to argue with. Spatiko starts free on the other half: a booking page with live scheduling and travel fees, clients, orders, quote requests and the Aryeo import, with your first deliveries on us. Ongoing delivery and online payments come with paid plans.
Aryeo pricing: when listing caps push you up a tier
Aryeo prices Pro by listings per year and team members. Per its Pro pricing page, Tier 1 is $49 a month for 100 annual listings and one team member, Tier 2 is $99 for 250 and three, Tier 3 is $179 for 500 and five, and anything bigger is a custom Enterprise quote. SMS notifications ($19 a month) and a branded mobile app ($179 a month) are extra. Spatiko’s paid plans are $49, $99 and $199 a month, each with a monthly delivery allowance and team size instead of a yearly listing count.
Take Pro Media Team: three photographers, Anna Stuart, Belle Campos and Sam Durham, shooting about 30 listings a month, or 360 a year. That’s past Tier 2’s 250, so on Aryeo it’s Tier 3 at $179 a month, or $2,148 a year. On Spatiko, three people and 30 deliveries a month fit the Pro plan at $99, or $1,188 a year. The gap is $960 a year before add-ons. The table runs the same illustrative arithmetic, at list prices, for other kinds of year.
| Your year (illustrative) | Aryeo plan it needs | Aryeo, per month | Spatiko plan covering it | Spatiko, per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo, about 8 listings a month (96 a year) | Pro Tier 1 | $49 | Starter | $49 |
| Solo, about 15 a month (180 a year) | Pro Tier 2 | $99 | Starter | $49 |
| 3 photographers, about 30 a month (360 a year) | Pro Tier 3 | $179 | Pro | $99 |
| 5 photographers, about 40 a month (480 a year) | Pro Tier 3 | $179 | Team | $199 |
| 8 photographers, about 70 a month (840 a year) | Enterprise | Custom quote | Team | $199 |
Three caveats keep that table honest. Spatiko’s allowance resets monthly while Aryeo’s is yearly, so a big spring is gentler on Aryeo; size a Spatiko plan to your busiest month, not your average, using the pricing page. At five photographers and about 40 listings a month, Aryeo’s Tier 3 is $20 a month cheaper. And Spatiko doesn’t send text messages or offer a branded app, so if you’d pay for either add-on, that’s a point for Aryeo.
Test the agent’s side before you compare features
The order form and checkout your agents touch matter more than any feature grid, and they take five minutes to test. Run the same test on Aryeo, on any alternative and on us:
- Open your public order form on your phone, signed out, the way an agent would. Time it from the link to the confirmation screen.
- Count every screen that asks for a login, a password or a new account.
- At the payment step, look for Apple Pay or Google Pay buttons rather than only a card form. Wallets depend on the payment processor and its settings, so check what your agents actually see.
On Spatiko, agents don’t create an account or a password; a six-digit code sent to their email confirms who they are. With Stripe connected (online payments come with paid plans), checkout leads with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and PayPal at booking, in the gallery and on payment links, depending on the agent’s device and your Stripe settings. Square works too, for cards.
How the AI compares: staging, edits and assistants
Aryeo includes AI virtual staging on Pro, while Spatiko offers a range of AI photo edits on every plan plus a way to connect your own assistant. Zillow said in September 2025 that its AI staging had been available to Aryeo subscribers at no extra cost since that March, which is real value if staging is the main edit you sell.
Spatiko’s AI Studio edits an order’s photos: virtual staging, twilight, sky replacement, declutter, green lawn, object removal and more. It’s on every plan, including Free; you review every result before anything reaches the client, and each photo is paid for in AI credits. Whichever platform you test, judge the edits on your own photos, not a demo image.
The other kind of AI handles admin. Spatiko connects to Claude or ChatGPT through MCP, the open standard assistants use to plug into other software, so your own assistant can check your schedule, move a shoot or look up a client’s balance when you ask. You choose what it can see or change, area by area, and it can never do more than your own role allows. AI Connections is on paid plans. Support for assistant connections varies, so ask any platform you’re considering.
Aryeo alternatives compared: HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Spiro and Spatiko
On price, the alternatives split three ways: yearly listing caps (Aryeo, Tonomo), pay per job (HDPhotoHub, Spiro) and flat monthly plans (Spatiko). Each cell comes from the vendor’s own pricing page, checked in October 2026. Prices change, so confirm before you commit.
| Platform | How it charges | Entry price | Published caps and seats | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aryeo | Subscription with yearly listing caps | Lite $0 (delivery only); Pro from $49/mo | 100 / 250 / 500 listings a year; 1 / 3 / 5 team members; Enterprise custom | Zillow Showcase delivery and branding on Zillow; SMS ($19/mo) and branded app ($179/mo) cost extra |
| HDPhotoHub | Per delivery | $5 Basic or $10 Full (USD); no monthly fee | Unlimited team members; no storage limits | Bill grows with every delivery; high-volume pricing is a custom quote |
| Tonomo | Subscription with yearly listing caps | $140/mo; no free plan listed | 200 listings a year and 1 photographer ($140); 425 and unlimited photographers ($250) | “Powered by Tonomo” footer on the $140 plan; fully white-labeled at $250 |
| Spiro | Per completed job | $5 a job; free to set up | Check with vendor | Deleted and duplicate listings still count as a charge |
| Spatiko | Flat monthly plans | Start free (booking side); paid from $49/mo | Monthly deliveries and team size per plan; see pricing | Newer platform; no SMS or branded app; size the plan to your busiest month |
One caveat on our own row: Spatiko is newer than Aryeo, which started in 2019, so there’s less mileage behind it. Trust the phone test over our word.
Planning your switch from Aryeo
Start with the photos, because Spatiko’s Aryeo importer doesn’t copy image files. Download the galleries you still need, active listings first, before your Aryeo account lapses. Check Aryeo’s cancellation notice too (see the FAQ below) so you aren’t billed for a month you won’t use.
The records can come with you. Spatiko’s Aryeo import is free on every plan, Free included: paste an API token from Aryeo, map your team, then import clients, your catalog, and orders with payments. Products arrive as services (packages, order forms and promo codes you rebuild yourself), and orders keep their line items, shoot sessions, payments, original dates, and video and tour links. Because every record is keyed to its Aryeo ID, you can import early, keep booking in Aryeo during the changeover and run a final pass on cutover day without duplicates, as long as that pass comes before you hand-edit imported orders. The Aryeo migration guide has the details.
Then spot-check a few orders. For Pro Media Team that might be the 218 Glenwood Avenue shoot for Jordan Meyers at Hartwell Realty: is Anna on the session, is the payment there, does the tour link open? If you’d rather not run the move alone, a demo call doubles as free onboarding, where Spatiko’s founder plans the switch with you and sets up your order form.
Who should stay on Aryeo, and who should move
Stay if your agents buy Zillow Showcase, if Lite’s free delivery covers what you need, or if your volume sits comfortably inside a tier and you’re at ease with the terms. Switching would cost you something real there.
Look elsewhere if your volume has outgrown the tier you’d want to pay for, if you’d rather your media license ended when you leave, or if you want booking and paying to be as short as possible for agents. That’s who Spatiko is built for.
Either way, run the phone test on both before you decide. If pay-per-delivery pricing is also on your list, our look at HDPhotoHub alternatives covers that side of the decision.
Frequently asked questions
How much notice does Aryeo need when you cancel?
Aryeo's Pro pricing page says there are no contracts, and its terms of service (updated March 11, 2025) set out how cancelling works. You cancel by contacting support or downgrading in your settings, and you keep access until the end of the current subscription month. To avoid being charged for the next month you have to cancel at least 30 days before it starts, and fees are non-refundable, so put the date in your calendar before you plan a cutover.
Will my Aryeo tour and property website links keep working after I switch?
Tours and videos hosted elsewhere, such as Matterport, YouTube or Vimeo, keep working because they never lived in Aryeo, and Spatiko's importer brings them across as links on each order. The Aryeo-hosted property website comes across as a link too, but it only works while Aryeo keeps serving it. Ask Aryeo what happens to live listings when you downgrade or close, and rebuild the ones still on the market as new property websites.
Do I need to tell my agents I'm switching platforms?
Yes, briefly, because three things change for them: the booking link, where their past orders live, and how they sign in. Send one short note with the new booking link, swap the order form embedded on your website, and explain that the new client portal signs them in with a one-time link sent to their email, with no password to remember.
Which Aryeo alternative costs the least?
It depends on your volume. Pay-per-job pricing wins in a quiet month: Spiro charges $5 per completed job and HDPhotoHub $5 or $10 per delivery, with no monthly fee. At $5 a job, ten jobs a month already costs about what a $49 subscription does, so if you shoot steadily a flat plan usually costs less. Prices checked in October 2026 on each vendor's own pricing page.
